QUASAR is the new full suspension e-mtb with new full carbon frame, equipped with Shimano EP8 engine and 630 Wh battery

An absolute new Bottecchia e-model, the new full suspension mtb with full carbon frame, increased reach and 160 travel for aggressive trail riding and top performance both uphill and downhill. The Rock Shox ZEB fork with 160 travel and 38mm aluminium rods ensures high stability and strong safety on the entire front end.

The new QUASAR combines lightness and agility with a high excursion, breaking down the limits of normal trail mtb. The stable and precise riding, makes it effective even on the most technical tracks, while always remaining a versatile all-mountain bike ready for anything.

DPG technology – Double Performance Geometry – allows you to adjust the geometry of the frame according to the route and riding style. In fact, thanks to the adjustment of the shock absorber link, it is possible to quickly adjust the geometry by modifying the steering angles, the seat tube and the height of the bottom bracket. This allows you to set the bike for different riding experiences, depending on whether the route is slower and more technical, or faster and smoother.

The cockpit is the new integrated full carbon OИE MR designed for the mountain bike racing world. Stem and handlebar are integrated into a single structure, compatible with internal cable mounting, designed to improve riding.

The electrical system is Shimano EP8, designed to give the right power at the right time with total and adjustable control tailored to your needs. Only 2.6kg and 85Nm, it is one of the lightest and most powerful drive units in its class. Thanks to heat conductive materials the EP8 system can handle rising temperatures as you climb, ensuring you can use maximum torque for many time. Pedalling fluidity is also guaranteed thanks to the optimization of the clutch with a 36% reduction in friction, to give greater reactivity with a more fluid detachment of the power assistance at above 25 km/h speeds.

Shimano’s long range 630Wh battery lets you push the limits and focus on the next gear change, not on the battery gauge.
