POWER UNIT
The new PW series S2 is Yamaha’s smallest, lightest and most powerful drive unit for the high volume Sport and Trail riding.

Producing 75 Nm of instant torque and weighing only 2.85 Kg, its torque to weight ratio is among the best in class.

Benefitting from automatic support mode and Zero Cadence technology, the PWseries S2 delivers an easy, enjoyable and intuitive eBike experience for every rider.

The 630 Wh battery designed by Fantic, gives the rider the freedom to extend tours, for limitless fun.

FRAME DESIGN
The position of the motor unit and the battery has been optimized so as to make it easier to ride the e-bike. By positioning the motor and battery close to the bike’s center of gravity, Fantic was able to achieve better weight distribution and, as a result, greater stability and maneuverability.

FEM ANALYSIS
In designing the frames, FEM analysis is applied and continuous structural and fatigue tests are conducted. In this way, the shapes and thicknesses of each frame section are optimized to ensure the necessary stiffness without adding weight. 

SEAT STAYS
A new technology of the rear chainstay strut made of „injected composite“ material, developed by the collaboration of Fantic’s engineering department with Acerbis, allows better reaction to any terrain types and a exclusive design.
